I've always gotten fantastic service from the one that I've been dealing with for years,both in parts and in the shop. I hate to change,but this new one is about 20 miles closer,and with the owner of the old dealer having passed away a year ago and them being such a low volume dealer for new equipment,I've been afraid of having to go farther for parts and service if the powers that be decide to shut them down. It's a real load off my mind to know the new dealer can get what I need. It wasn't in this new location,but the owners family used to be a Deere dealer that I did business with from time to time.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
