The crank shaft my BIL needed was in stock. The dealer just wanted to try to sell my BIL a different tractor. The dealer insisted it wasn't available after my BIL called them with the part number. So my BIL went to a Cat/Challenger dealer and ordered it. He had it in a couple of days. Next they tried telling my BIL that it was the wrong crank. They had changed the bolt length on the front end of the crank (notification was in the box it was delivered in of the change) All they had to do was order the correct bolt, shorter bolt. Like I said the dealer here, not AGCO is the problem for the most part. AGCO, when contacted about this and other problems doesn't seem to care. All they know is the guy moves new equipment. I know 2 farms that were diehard AGCO that are now switching out as needed to JD or CaseIH stuff. The old dealer was 2 brothers. They are both angry with what the new owner has done and wish that they had stayed a few more years. Those guys were great. One did sales and the other ran the parts department. They are not even doing repairs at this store any longer. Now they will let you brings something in and they carry it down to the home store and charge for the trucking. Guys are mad. Basically I think they are going to lose most of the customers in this area.
