Hi one thing you have to remember is just because they list the part online doesn't mean it's in stock in a warehouse any where in the world.
I had this happen with an MF front assist tractor 2 years ago . Part is listed in books and online. Go to order with dealer. Non in stock in MF distribution system world wide!. they told me the last one sold to dealer in Quebec. called those guys they had fitted it.
MF came back with a 3 to 4 month back order. Tried looking at everything else that used the axle like challenger and landini. All said about guys in Quebec, which i already knew the answer to!. In the end we had a 2 month wait with the tractor down the whole time. any machine now can be down for a week to a few months now if parts aren't in a warehouse somewhere in the world.
I need a bigger shop or refuse to bring some jobs in. If I figure it's going to sit for a month or more stored in my shop in bits. more of the odd ball brands stay on the guys farm now and i go out if possible, so they store it during the delays. Regards Robert
