A FYI. Just for grins, I thought I'd test the water on what a new battery for my tractor would cost if I decided to buy a new one.....which isn't necessary at this time it seems.
So, I called the local International OTR Truck dealer who buys batteries for OTR trucks by the pallet and he had this for sale.
Dynavolt OTR rated, DY 31S (3/8 stud posts) 925 CCA at 0F, load tested at 450 amps, meeting some kind of specs that I didn't care to read...............Ready for this? $90 plus old battery. I have used these before and they are tough and obviously made for a tough environment.
HTH if you need a new battery. See your OTR trucker dealer who also makes cables for you before you plunk down your money. If he does like my local does, you should be able to get a great deal.
