Bryce posted that he felt he was being treated rudely by a Craigslist seller who didn't have a price posted. Bryce had told the seller his life story and how he had little money to offer and he had bought a tractor just like the seller's for $200. The seller responded that he wanted $5,000.
Many of us here gave him advice, but he really didn't want to hear any of it. We pointed out that he has a gaggle of old iron already and is constantly buying more and yet claiming poverty when trying to buy something.
One person linked to a tractor collector magazine article showing that Bryce and his dad had spent thousands of dollars buying and restoring old tractors. Yes, this hobby can cost a lot! He also linked to photos of what a nice/wealthy area Bryce lived in. Bryce didn't take that well and let us know that the twenty acres that he himself owns was his before the rich folks moved in around them. It went downhill from there and any good advice was lost and ignored.
Bryce must have posted that he was leaving, but I never saw that one before it was taken down too.
I think Bryce is a pretty good kid and a hard worker but doesn't realize how much he has at 16 years old and just "got a little big for his britches" and didn't want the old guys giving him advice that he didn't want to hear.

As a matter of fact, some of the technology experimented with over 40 years ago makes today's tractor technology seem absolutely stale by comparison. Experimentation, from the most complex assembly to the most simple and mundane component, is as an integral a part of any farm tractor's development
