I just found one!! :)
I have a 1949 Farmall C that I JUST put on CL this morning and a guy from our tractor club e-mail me, and wanted to talk (didn't realize it was me though).
I called him and we both figured out who the other was, and he told me that he wanted the C for a restoration project to give to his grand kids when done, but that he wanted to trade me...
He said that he has a 1950's Farmall Super M, 3 wheeler, and that it has a "two point lift system on the rear" (Fast Hitch???)
Runs and drives, but is desperate for rear tires...
Said that he thinks he wants to trade straight across for the C...
Something tells me that may be a good deal??? :)
I told him that I would be MORE than happy to do that, and that I would throw in a C parts tractor to sweeten the deal, mainly because I really like the guy!
We will see what happens, hope it goes through!
Here is a link to my tractor for sale. Has a wide front end on it now...
