This is a picture of my Mom's Home Place on Easter of 1937. She turned 9 March of that year. That's my mom, the little girl in the front row. She was #14 and her little brother next to her was #15.
The next picture is at Mom & Dad's with 12 of my Mom's Siblings. That's my mom standing on the far left. The man behind his wife in the older picture is the man on the right sitting in the later picture. The little brother in the older picture is the brother standing on the far right in the newer picture. The little brother or the youngest one never married but almost and called it off. He later moved to New York after getting out of the Army. He became an Undertaker and did quite well for himself. He lived with two other men and their house was elegant. I believe this picture was taken in the early 1980's.
