I should dig around here got a picture from the original farmstead with a date of 1910 on postal mark. A regular egg customer asked where a local "land mark" was we told him and asked why. He said he had a picture that was marked with that place and was wondering where it was. The next time he stopped he brought with him a postcard with said picture on it. When my dad read the names written on the card he realized right away that it was the old farm house up the road, his fathers home place before brothers split the property to what it is now. The "land mark" mentioned wasn't right.
