Sooooo, if your industry is in the tank (no pun intended) and management would love to have someone to blame for closing the plant, you have to run out the door just because your contract expired? Did any of the union bosses happen to consider that it might be best to lay low for awhile and work under the former contract until conditions were better to make demands? Hmmmmm?
As far as reading up on it, there are just so many activities higher on my list than reading about union shenanigans. Only been in a union once, against my will. Worst job I ever had- left after 2 weeks.
