Well I lucked up yesterday and had a fellow call me and asked me if I wanted a tractor to haul off his land. went to get it and cant determine if it is a ford 2000 or 3000. I am not familiar with fords and cant seem to find a serial tag. Weather doesn't want to co-operate to take pics. It is a two stick shift with 3 cyl gas engine. I scraped paint on the dash and found a partial shifting pattern with the numbers 4 and 5 on it and a H and L. I know the h and l is hi and lo, didn't know they made a 10 speed. As soon as I can I will try to post some pics. Can anyone tell me what to look for and help to distinguish model and year? Thanks. I think I will post on ford board also.
