went to pick up a couple gallons of ih red paint at the local carquest,they have a line of paint for various makes of farm tractors which is less expensive than their auto paint, they have changed their paint brands, now its krylon, ok krylon makes good paint, or so i thought, but , this paint now is water based, i opened the can back at the farm and it wasnt ih red,way to brown, i went ahead and mixed it as directed and sprayed some, as i know some paints change color a little as they dry, it is more like a flat case backhoe brown! the truck i was painting was ih red, i know this because several years ago i personally painted it ih red, i went back and had them open the ford red, it was violet, the massy red was a lighter brown, had to have them mix up some"real" paint, for the truck, 287.00 a gallon!
