Not sure whats the deal with there color match. But I will say that about 9 years ago the company I work for got a contract to do rolloff dumpsters for a company that wanted them painted with there distinct color, and specified a waterborn paint that we had to use. We all laughed at it and figured it would be like cheap house paint in durability, it was cheap like 90 bucks for a 5 gal pail. It sprayed on nice, cleaned up easy with water, and we figured it would practicaly wash off in the rain after a couple years. Well what a surprise we had, the contract long since folded up but the dumpsters and other things we painted with the extra paint still look great. Its a very tough durable paint, the world is changing and not everything enviro friendly is poor quality nowdays. As for tractor paints, im partial to JD paints, ie Valspar, they hold up well and very available and reasonably priced. Just painted my dodge pickup with JD charcoal gray last fall and it looks great and is a close match to the original at a fraction the price.
