I called Vanguard again about 1099s. They got a sweet deal from the IRS, an extension later than the 15th. Web site says they are available but then they are not. One yoyo said they were to be mailed Friday. Thought last year was bad enough, should have been mailed the 17th and they said they were mailed then. The envolope that I received was dated the 20th. These people DO NOT realize that we have to PAY by March 1.
My first sergeant always said we put our pants on the same way as the officers. But I guess we don't as the monied people do. Maybe this deal was made along with Citi Corp by Geitner and congress. I think I will buy some more Mason jars to store tax free green backs and some for the tax free liquid refreshment.
