Bryce.......I too feel necked without a knife in my pocket ...but... yer just askin' fer trouble carrying that MONSTER in town. Its just good fer brambles and sapling clearing. It might impress the Boy Scouts but NOT the Scoutmaster. I have a friend that goes down to Olympia and picks over the knives that have been confiscated at SeaTac airport.
I've been carrying since I was 9-yo and had to sharpen a knife for a Cub Scouts merit badge, I'm 77-yo now. The ONLY time I haven't had a knife was when I had mine confiscated by the SARGENT the first nite in military training. It really made me sad 'cuz it was my grandpa's knife and was eazy to sharpen. You do know that a SHARP knife is the safest knife.
Iff'n you're goin' places where you feel the need to carry a knife is important, you might want to re-think where yer goin' and why. .......respectfully, Dell
