Been trying to do some research on the Idaho State, Knife Carry Laws.
As we all know, I can't legally carry a hand gun until I am 21 (not right in my opinion, but oh well!)
I have a large knife that I have on me frequently around the property, and want to start carrying it with me in town and stuff.
It WILL be visible (not concealed) It is a Straight Blade It will be in a full sheath, with two "Fast Clips" to get it out. It will be hanging on my belt.
Is it legal for me, 16 year old, to carry that?
From what I have found online, it is NOT legal for me to "own" a knife of that size, however I am legal to carry one AS LONG as I have WITH ME, written consent for the EXACT knife from at least one of my parents.
Do you agree?
Just looking for the fact of it! Would post a picture if that is ok, but I wasn't sure if it was or not? I have seen a bunch of gun pictures on here, so a knife should be alright huh?
