It is getting tough for crack heads and folks in the salvage business. We park our equipment and even work in the yard when they need help. But right now there is nothing much coming in and they are talking about laying off people. They also say they are looking for steel to go lower and the rest to stay about the same. We sold two loads (not very heavy dump trailer loads) and got a little less than $400. Two months ago We bought 19 3000 to 5000 gal storage tanks and two 48ft trailers. Had a person say they would take them all but one trailer at a price considerably higher than scrap. BUT is only wanted 1 trailer and two tanks so far as his intention is to sell them before He takes possession of them. Which may sound a little hinky but the price He is giving it's worth the wait.
