You are about ten miles off on the pictures of the pine trees Mike, they are up the coast from Kaanapali at Kapalua. I have been half way around the world and it is the only place that I have ever seen pine trees of that variety. The lagoon picture was taken at Ko Olina on the southwest corner of O'ahu, a place as close to the garden of eden as one can ever imagine. One of the four Lagoons there. The mountain road picture was taken on the road past Hana on Maui that goes around the back side of the volcano and eventually connects with the road that goes to Kihei. This road is not for the faint of heart as their are many miles of one lane two track without any guard rail that drops off a thousand feet or more into the Pacific Ocean. My wife wanted me to take the pictures and I told her that I really should be watching the road. I wish the screen on the GPS would have come through on the picture as the GPS shows no road at all. It would make for a great tractor drive as it is about a five mile an hour road at it's best but hauling tractors there would be a real problem. All pictures were taken in Hawaii. Good job Mike, you really had it pinpointed. I have many pictures but I didn't want to bore people or to be so far off the topic that I get poofed.
