I had a corn planter advertised one time and had it out by the road. It'd been out there for a few weeks when somebody a few hours north of here called on the ad. He said he'd be right down with his trailer. This was before CL,so it was a Farmers Advance print ad. Wouldn't you know,a local stopped to look at it and was here when the guy got here. I'd told the local guy that there was somebody on their way,so he was just standing around chewing the fat when the guy drove in. He sure had a sick look on his face when he got out of his truck,but when I told him I was holding it for him,it didn't take him long to get out his checkbook. lol
