I was pulling my trailer to a mowing job. I had to go through a narrow gate. Once I started in it was down hill on a gravel road preventing me from backing up. I have made this entrance many times in past years. I could see the trailer fender was going to slide past the gate iron post, no problem. What I didn't see was the hinge bolts sticking out beyond the post. When I got to the bottom I could hear air. I guess I now have a flat. What I saw was not what I expected. Both tires were flat, besides that both rims had the rim bent from the bolt on the post. Three hours later I was back in business. So what did I learn from that experience. Have a jack, lug wrench, and spare tire in my truck at all times. If I had all that I could have installed my spare, removed the least bent rim hammered out the bent part and had it aired up at a tire about a mile away. So how did your day go? Stan
