Actually the first 22 RF were primer only. We have come full circle.
I like to have a stock of different ammo for different jobs. Our cemetery had/has a gopher problem. I was asked to get rid of some as quietly as possible. My daughter and I would take her NEF .22 single shot down there and out to 25 yards or so this setup was effective at anchoring the little buggers. The hammer dropping on the rifle made more noise than the 'muzzle blast".
I have always kept an eye out for deals and buy many consumables this way. It is nice to be setting on a stash when others are in panic mode. I do on occasion share with others too. :)
