I posted a few days ago about a repair on my JD 401 industrial fuel tank with JB weld. I managed to finish one mowing job. While loading my tractor see fuel dripping again from the same spot. Allan said It will leak again. It did. I removed the tank and found a air cleaner attaching bracket had come loose from the tank. Maybe that loose bracket was causing excessive vibration, causing the original crack. I took the tank to a repair shop they are going to weld the crack, and re solder the bracket. The shop is going to clean out the tank, which had some crud also. Allan said to start looking for a tank which I did, but when I saw the price I decided for 125.00 it is worth the gamble. I am finding radiator shops that repair fuel tanks are almost a dying industry. This shop was way out of my area. Stan
