O.K I have a life time experience with the dt466 ih engine in , dozers, tractors and trucks. Here is the problem I have no experience with the newer E engines. Have one in a 2002 ih4900 trucks. Truck sat for 8 years before I got it and seemed to run fine. We removed a fuel bed and mounted a nice flat bed dump. Changed oil/filters ect and made a short trip. Just ran so so and I was not satisfied. Changed the fuel filter and made another trip. I am now convinced it has a bad injector or not really stout enough at higher rpms . Been reading and looking on u tube they make a bid deal out of changing an injector. Not like the older engines. Rebuilt injectors seem to run around 250 to 300 bucks or more. Six injectors 1800 and probably 1500 in shop labor , not sure the truck is worth the 3500 . Engine only shows 86,000 and shows no blowby. Any body had this problem.. Comments please What should it cost to check and replace ONE injector or is that a smart idea.

Well, although these tires were in good shape as far as tread was concerned, they looked real sad. All were flat, but new tubes fixed that. In addition to years and years of scuffing and fading, they had paint splattered on
