jocco, Might tick off some folks on here, but my feelings are this. 1. I hate the sound of the Boomers that rattle the windows, and make you duck.
2. There is little to no consideration to the folks who live nearby, sounds like World War 3
3. There is no patriotic value to the noise only shock and anger towards those who detonate fireworks that sound like grenades.
4. Up here where we live, in the boonies, we relish the peace and quiet, unlike those who invade our area from those from out of State as well as some brainless locals.
5. There is required permits ( that are ignored by idiots) needed to detonate fireworks. The jackals that persist in firing off their illegal fireworks has no consideration for people with health issues.
6. Our local law enforcement tries to curtail that activity, and 80% of the time they are successful. Our court news doesn't show that illegal activity and fines issued to those who think the noise is a wonderful sound, they must be used to the city noises ie backfires and gunshots. It's no wonder peoples pets scramble under the bed shaking and whimpering.
7. IMHO they could do away with them all. Those that fire them show no respect for the quietness, solace and peace of mind of those they subject to the racket. It's a never ending escalated noise level from fireworks, loud radio racket( rap) that sounds like their running on flat tires.
8. Done with my rant. The Sheriff showed up last night @ 10:30pm and we regained our peace and quiet, thanks to the local law enforcement efforts. No I didn't call them out. So it shows I am not alone in hating such racket that has nothing to do with Patriotism and Freedom.
