Good evening,
I recently purchased a Case 430ck backhoe / loader. After running her fine for 2 days, toward the end of the second day it started to make a grinding sound when attempting to put her into gear and then forward or reverse or vice versa. We are able to do them individually without problem, but not together.
Example: Put it into 1st gear but when we move the selector lever for forward or reverse it wont pop into place with a grinding sound. Or with the gear in neutral, we can move the selector into forward or reverse, but as soon as we attempt to move it into 1st gear it does the same. Its almost if if the clutch is still spinning, not allowing it to go into gear.
My brother posted this on the forum a couple weeks ago (http://forums.yesterdaystractors.com/viewtopic.php?t=1231960) and I am expanding on it, with a desperate plea for help. :) So if anyone can give any advice, troubleshooting steps, and suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.

Cylinders are the reason for the hydraulic circuit. They take the fluid power delivered from the pump and magically change it into mechanical power. There are many types of cylinders that one might run across on a farm scenario. Each one could take a chapter in
