Here are a few pictures of the apple grinder. It is very simple and easy to make. The screws are in 8 rows, each screw is 1" apart in each row and each row is offset 1/4" from the one before it so there are no gaps. I have to use a pusher board sometimes to get the apples not to jam up above the drum. I use a piece of 1x8 about 18" long to push. The drum is ash, most of the rest is hickory. I am hoping this winter to make a hand cart out of 8/4 ash boards that will have the press on one end and the grinder on the other. Right now it is just sort of perched on the stairs so I can put the bowl underneath. The press is very old and I want to replace all of the wood since it is not as rigid as I would like. Zach
