MAKE SURE YOU SET YOUR DRAIN PIPE A LITTLE LOWER THAN YOUR SPILLWAY, MAYBE A FOOT OR SO SO YOUR SPILLWAY DOESN'T STAY WET, THIS WILL PULL THE WATER LEVEL DOWN OFF THE SPILLWAY A LITTLE, BUT YOU NEED IT TO STAY DRY WHEN THE WATER QUITS RUNNING: I'm planning to build a 2-3 acre pond on my property.
