I know what you mean about the oil slick roads. I was driving around Ft Worth yesterday when it had just started to rain. I've driven on snow that had better traction! First rain for parts of town since May!
Evidently the stability control doesn't work at low speed, like trying to take off up hill in an empty PU. The rear tires just keep spinning, the rear end just keeps coming around...
There were wrecks everywhere, firetrucks, ambulances, closed streets! What a mess!
