I went with T-8 high bay lights in my shop,, I had 3 rows of 6 400 watt sodium lights, my electric bill went from $550 to $135 per month..and the lighting is much better, I have T-5's in my pump room with 11 ft. ceiling..the 400 watt units were heating up to 400 degrees, it takes a lot of electric to make that kind of heat..
