Help me understand this one. I see the spec on the back says 1700 lumens an this is a 100w HID replacement. Well A 100w metal halide is 6500+ lumens. A mercury vapor lamp is still 4000 or so lumens. Is is it the delivery, the color temp or something else that makes it A HID replacement as it seems to me to not have enough light to suitably replace HID. I am a beliver in LEDs but that spec has meade me not change my outdoor fixtures over.
