My younger cousin has six kids. That's not that common anymore but not rare either. The rare part is this. The first kids where a set of twin girls. Thirteen months later they had a set of triplet girls. Then 11 months after that they had the last child, a boy. So in just over 24 months they had six kids. Think of the cost/work!!! Six kids in diapers at one time. They had to have six car seats at the same time. Going anywhere was a major job to just get all of them into the car/suburban. It was lucky that he had/has a very good job. So they hired two people to help nanny when the kids where younger.
Side note. My cousin's wife came from a very devout Catholic family. He had to convert so they could be married. After the last child he went and got "fixed". His Mother-in-law was majorly POed at him for that. He put up with it for a while. Finally he told her, and the local Priest that was pushing it too that, if they wanted to make arrangements to personally cover the cost of any additional kids he would go get put back in 'Business". He said it was a funny thing that they shut right up and became a whole lot more civil. LOL By they way the girls are all teenagers now and very pretty. He is nervous. LOL

This story is about the day my Grandfather Brown (true name) decided along with my parents to purchase a new Ford tractor. It wasn't really new except to us. The year was about 1967 and my father found a good used Ford 601 tractor to use on the farm instead of "Bob", our old mule. Now my grandfather had had this mule since the mid 40's and he was getting some age on him. S
