2N 12v conversion

Have a '46 2N used as a working tractor on a small
acreage (been in the family for 40 years, so sentimental
value). Would like to convert to 12v alternator
system. Since the original is positive ground, what
must be done to starter if I put on a neg ground alternator?
Are the aftermarket conversions (such as sold by YT)
negative ground also? Any other tips for conversion?
