Do any of ya'll have Internet service bundled with Dish TV or Direct TV? If so, how is it working?
I'm totally fed up with Verizon. I started out with a 4 gig per month plan 4 years ago and it was sufficient at the time. To make a long story short, without our changing our hardware or habits, the usage keeps going up with overage charges. I'll get a message that I we can avoid the overage charges by increasing the limit on our plan. We increase the plan by, say, two gigs per month and within a month or two our usage increases be the same amount. We are now up to 18 gigs per month and last month our usage was 18.3.
I have a complaint against Verizon pending with the FCC. In my most recent email from Verizon Customer Service, the gal admitted that if we had other Internet options comparable to Verizon, our monthly bill would be substantially lower. In other words, she was admitting that Verizon bills according to whether they have competition in an area.
I know, that's the American way of doing business, but when you're on the receiving end of it, it gripes you.
The FCC served my complaint on Verizon on January 20, and by law Verizon has 30 days to respond back to the FCC. We'll see what happens there. Meanwhile, I'm looking for other options. We have Direct TV and adding Internet service to it would be simple if the service is satisfactory. Also, the fellow who signed me up with Verizon initially is now a Dish dealer, so I think I'll talk to him.
As I asked, if anyone has Internet service bundled with Dish or Direct TV, I'd appreciate any feedback.

Like most features of our life, few things are all good or all bad, and most such judgments depend on our own perspective or viewpoint. In our particular hobby, we enjoy the nostalgic return to the days of our youth as we recreate many of the scenes that took place on the family farm that served as the stage for the first few acts of the play that is our live
