: The check plug for the trans is on the left side of the housing in front of the clutch pedal. It's a square plug, level should be up to the bottom of hole. I think the vent your talking about above the pto is just that, a vent. The pto has it's own oil sump. It has a level plug on the left side (under the vent & filler cap). On the hyd levers, the standard setup on the 350 utility was to have from 1 to 3 levers (they're aluminum) on the right side. The rearmost on controls the 2 point hitch, the others control the remote outlets. There is a lever on the other side with more of a "bail" type handle. This is the traction control handle. The lever is notched, you were supposed to be able to adjust how much weight tranfered form the mounted implement to the tractor for traction. If I remember correctly, the top notch was the maximum. Hope this helps! : I am not sure how to check the Transmission lube /oil level in my 1957 International 350. There is a small removal vent type opening just foward and above the PTO. I am not sure of it's purpose, what type of lube, or if it has anything to do with transmission lubrication. : One other question, there are, as near as I can guess, 2 types of of load displacing levers to the left and rear of the seat and to the left and rear of the seat at platform level. The tractor has a factory two point hydralic quick hitch with a 3 point top link above the PTO cage. I have moved the two levels and can't seem to tell any difference when pulling a load or disk. Ideas? : Thank you : Larry L. Thomas : Colorado Springs, Co
