As I've mentioned, I don't own a cell phone, I don't like telephones.
I waste plenty of time on the iPad and computers.....
Was at pizza buffet last night with wife, and there were 4 people across the way tapping on cell phones, and one was in the buffet line with one cradled on his shoulder slowing down the line, doing more talking that food grabbing.
How we socialize sure has changed.....
Then one of the fellas put down his cell phone, and his other cell phone rang before his hand got off the table. He picked it up, talked on it, and while doing so grabbed the other phone and started tapping on it. Didnt leave a hand free for eating.
Maybe we will lose weight, if we stop eating in favor of using smart phones? Didnt seem to be time for anything else but tapping on phone screens or talking.
Three night ago an impatient pickup pulled out and passed 4 of us in a no passing zone, ran oncoming traffic into the road shoulder. The lead car was going about 40mph with the rest of is riding his bumper. You could see the glow on their face from the cell phone. As a truck drive you gotta be sick about the whole traffic issues phones cause. The driving teeter caused the impatient fella to about cause a wreck, a whole lot of folk to blame but sheez.
And yes, I get the irony of me typing this out on my iPad during late breakfast...... Pot, kettle, yup.

As a kid he worked part time on a farm in Kansas doing many of the manual chores. Some of the more successful farmers of that day had a new time saving device called a tractor. It increased the farm productivity and, in general, made life easier because more work could be done with this 'mechanical beast'. My dad dreamed that some day he would have his own tractor with every implement he could get. When he rea
