The clock is running down on our annual busy season. Our traditional ebb and flow for the last week is to be very busy out-processing but not necessarily taking in a lot of new returns. We do have a limited number of long time clients who like to come in the last week, however. Generally they expect to sit and chat for an hour or so and catch up on our respective families, etc. Can make for a pleasant day. Two fellas who come in earlier have made it a habit of picking up their taxes in the last week. One came today and, as usual, had a bag with burgers in it from a well known local chain. One for me and one for my wife...never one for him and he refuses to share ours. Signs his forms, writes a check, thanks me and gets thanked in return. On the last possible day the other fella will pick up. Shows up late in the afternoon with a hot pizza...every year. Really incredibly nice. Any nice customers where you work?
