It's been awhile and I can't remember, but does it have the master solenoid switch that makes and breaks the ground wire, or some have it breaking the hot wire?
That said, if it breaks the ground, Komatsu is notorious for hiding diodes in the system that will keep it from starting. Too the computer reads voltage off the alternator and if it senses over like point something of a volt it won't let it start. Also the safety bar actuates a switch, which operates a relay, but that will keep it from starting also.
Don't feel bad about having issues with this machine. A couple of weeks back I spent nearly all day trying to get a PC160-7 to start. Before it was over I had both arm rests open, the cover off the control panel, and several panels off in other areas. What I ultimately found was a bad ground on about a 16ga wire that grounded a solenoid that necessitated having 3 or 4 other solenoid switches to make or break in order to energize it....In turn it energized the solenoid on the starter as well as another solenoid that energized the intake heater. In other words it took like 5 or 6 solenoids, as well as the computer to start that machine. My opinion, this goes beyond ridiculous, and becomes downright absurd.
That aside, as bad as I hate to say it, ya'll are just going to have to break down and call someone that know the layout of that particular machine. If I were closer I'd be happy to take a look at it, as the majority of them were wired close to the same. But close is the operable word as none I have seen are exactly like the generation before, or after. End result is tt's near impossible to know exactly what to tell you to check without being there to see it firsthand.
Wish I was closer. As much as I hate dealing with electrical problems, I hate having one and not being able to figure it out even more....LOL Seriously though you've got me curious as heck as to what the problem might be, and it's going to bug me until ya'll get it figured out.
When you do I guarantee it will be something simple.......but please let us know.

Today's Featured Article - Timing Your Magneto Ignition Tractor - by Chris Pratt. If you have done major engine work or restored your tractor, chances are you removed the magneto and spark plug wires and eventually reached the point where you had to put it all back together and make it run. On our first cosmetic restoration, not having a manual, we carefully marked the wires, taped the magneto in the position it came off, and were careful not to turn the engine over while we had these components off. We thought we could get by with this since the engine ran perfectly and would not need any internal work. After the cleanup and painting was done, we began reassembly and finally came to t
