Cant help you on the starter, but the "1 wire" Delco alternator is not a good fit for a "new generation" JD Your tractor does not come with an ammeter or voltmeter, only a Gen light. You should add an alternator repair plug kit from the auto parts store to your alternator, connecting the gen light wire to the #1 terminal(small white wire usually), on the regulator plug in your new alternator. Just tape up the heavy red wire in the plug(#2), as your "1 wire" alt does not need it, as it senses system voltage internally. If your" 1 wire" alternator ever fails, you can install a 3 wire alternator by adding a ring terminal to the #2 wire and attaching it to the big BAT stud so the 3 wire alternator can sense voltage externally. Remove the dash cover and remove the black plastic resistor in the gen light wire,( just unplug the resistor and plug the wires together) that will convert the formerly 24V gen light to 12V. With this done, your generator light will work as intended to indicate charge / no charge and will allow your "1 wire" alternator to excite at lower rpm, a real win win deal.

Cylinders are the reason for the hydraulic circuit. They take the fluid power delivered from the pump and magically change it into mechanical power. There are many types of cylinders that one might run across on a farm scenario. Each one could take a chapter in
