Either/or will work for sweet corn. The 24 will give more plants per acre than the 16. However, sweet corn seed is 'varigated',or varies in size.A single drop just will not work. My recomendation is to use a large/medium round plate with 16 cells.Multiple seeds will drop, but your forward travel will tend to spread them a bit.Planter gearing is also a factor in population. Row width?Your call. The tractor wheels can be adjusted to fit just about any width from 28" to 36,or probably 40".It is preferable to set the wheel tread to run centered between the rows.Example 30" row requires a 60"c/c width. 36" would require a 72" width. But you can get by if wheels are not perfectly centered. How wide is the planter set? can you adjust the row width".30" is common. However, you may want to go wider(36"?) to be easier to walk through when picking.

Amana Colonies served as a respite where we ate a family style lunch that sustained us with more food than could reasonably fit into our ample physiques. The show at Ankeny
