Your super A will work fine on 12 volt neg ground. The old starter can be left as-is, but you'll need to change the coil to a 12 volt, or else install a ballast resistor in series with the existing 6 volt coil. And if you have lights you'll have to replace them with 12 volt units. I've converted several H's and M's to 12 volts and have been delighted with the results. Bob
