I do not want the upgrade to WIN 10. PERIOD!!!. The privacy issues are my main reason. Win 10 is a operating system with malware built in. Microsoft is going to mine data from YOUR computer to target marketing stuff to you. This is a new revenue stream for them. They want this real bad so they are doing a bunch of dirty trick types of stuff to get you to switch to Win 10. I really think that Microsoft's "forced" up grade should be illegal and there should be class action lawsuit against them. I am a very anti lawsuit type of person but this action by Microsoft is going too far. If I tell you I do not want your free stuff then your should respect that period. I do not care if your free stuff is the greatest thing ever. It should be my decision to down load it or not without coercion.
There are several free programs that stop WIN 10 form down loading. I just used this one several days ago and it works great and is very simple and used simple language in it's agreements. It is " GWX Control Panel". There are others that work too. This one just seemed simpler for a novice user. It is easy to use with common English terms not computer Geek terms.
So just search " GWX Control Panel " An you will find many places to down load this tool.
I wish everyone would use it. I am not necessarily against Win 10 it is just forcing it on people is kind of like computer rape. Microsoft's program actually is pretty good IF you disable much of the data harvesting stuff. I want it to hit Microsoft in the Pocket book so it never tries this again.
So for me I will not run Win 10 of my own free will.
Also some information on continued support of earlier Window operating systems. Many are saying that WIN 10 stops all other support. This is not true!!!! Here are the facts on that.
Vista supported until April 11,2017 Windows 7 supported until Jan. 14th, 2020 Windows 8 supported until Jan. 10th, 2023 Windows 10 only supported until Oct. 14th, 2025
So if your only looking at support, then Wind 10 only adds 2 1/2 years of time.

Today's Featured Article - Grain Threshing in the Early 40's - by Jerry D. Coleman. How many of you can sit there and say that you have plowed with a mule? Well I would say not many, but maybe a few. This story is about the day my Grandfather Brown (true name) decided along with my parents to purchase a new Ford tractor. It wasn't really new except to us. The year was about 1967 and my father found a good used Ford 601 tractor to use on the farm instead of "Bob", our old mule. Now my grandfather had had this mule since the mid 40's and he was getting some age on him. S
