It isn't JUST Chrysler!! They are ALL the same. They know you're a sucker just by the fact that you are talking "lease" in the first place. I also think that dealers who "fudge" the financing figures and "lead on" buyers who they know can't possibly make the payments should be the ones liable to the loan institution when they can't pay for the car. I will go on record as saying I have never known an auto salesman who hasn't lied to make a deal , either outright or through omition. I managed a body shop at a Chrysler dealership for 6 yrs , a Chevy dealership for 2 and several used car dealers. These people are so corrupt and full of intentionally misleading bussiness practices and have done it for so long that they themselves are convinced that it is normal and nothing wrong with it because "they all do it". The OWNER of the Chrysler one told all of us (especially service dept) at our monthly meeting that from know on any part put on a car , STAYS on the car reguardless of whether it fixed the problem or not. That was his corrupt way of lowering his parts inventory and making more profit at the same time. Screw the customer , they will never know. As far as the car dealer posting on here , if the shoe fits , wear it. If not don't be defensive , help your corrupt subculture police their selves and clean up their act. Most are not too far above pimps on the scale of life forms.

From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
