fiat built tractors yes the UTB's were a fiat design lisecned to UTB to use or better yet copy and are in no way the same look simalar is abut the only in common and the long 510 was built by UTB some of the other long tractors were built by fiat and some Landinis probably others as well after long was bought out the Long name was dropped in favor of the Farmtrac brand that is no more as well would you use lada parts to fix your fiat 124 as thats what it was based off of how many of the 20 plus million ladas built do you see on the rd they just don't last and weren't built too either same with the UTB at least china (land of almost right) are close to the original parts the russians make them their own way to their specs like your oliver my 69 cockshutt 1450 is a fiat built tractor and side by side you can see the quality in it over the UTB where I am the local dealer for them was only 5 miles from me by his own admission said they weren't built that well and I know of about 40 of them sitting in farm lots that never move and the 3 I've seen running at local auctions are hard to get bids ans only get 300 - 400 bucks for them if they sell at all I liked running the UTB had good power and did everything we needed it to do but was a nightmare to locate parts and when you did took a while to get them and yes I bought some parts from Import Tractor as well as I still service it our reason for replacement was based on that but remember the boss still has it only gets used about 50 hrs a yr now over the 200 hrs a yr here
