piston rings

I just rebuilt the engine in my 8n ford I align all the gaps in the piston rings because my freind told me if you line up the ring gaps that once you start the engine they wiil turn at different speeds and there fore never have blow by but my engine now blows the dipstick out evertime I start the engine HELp
