Maxi the goose in Sumner MO.
I drove across MO on RT 36, east from Cameron to Hannibal, Mark Twain's birthplace. The goose was a silly side trip, but fun. Hannibal was a neat town. Lots of farming and tractors on the way.
There is an at museum on the side of I70, I think it is in Illinois.
Atcheson Kansas was nifty. Fort Leavenworth, herds of domestic Bison. There are places you can still see wagon ruts from one of the old trails, maybe the Santa Fe?
