Folks, I need some help on planning a trip. I'm getting married the 22nd of this month. My new bride and I will be heading west from Tennessee for our honeymoon. Hoping to make it to Cheyenne, WY. There is no time schedule or anywhere we have to be at a certain time. I'm planning on staying off of the interstate as much as possible. If anyone has any suggestions of things to stop and see along the way please post them. Anything farming or history related is always a must. General directions will be to go up and across Missouri and Kansas or Nebraska to Wyoming. Then come back across Nebraska or South Dakota through Iowa. Then drop down through Illinois and Kentucky back to the house. That is just a general idea of the way we plan to travel. I haven't picked out any roads yet so that is still open for suggestions.
