The seller can't raise the shipping price. I have been buying and selling on ebay since 06. I have had way more trouble with buyers than sellers.
Most common problem is they buy multiple items.Pay for each item Then want combined shipping. That is a money loser for the seller as Ebay won't refund their commission on the shipping fees.
My latest problem. I sold a IHC distributor for a MD. The buyer put in to return it. For some reason ebay granted the return and gave the refund BEFORE the buyer returned the distributor. What are the odds I'll see my distributor?
I found out Ebay has a new return policy. If you sell on Ebay you better check your return policy settings. Ebay set mine so any item under $750.00 was an automatic refund. I lowered it to $1.99.
