hello all . I am new to this kind of thing . my oldest son and I have inherited a super m . it did have a belly mounted sickle bar mower . b4 daddy passed away he had a neighbor haul off the scrap iron. we went to hook up the mower and we find that they got the pto shaft , gear that goes from the pto shaft [stay with me] that connects to the shorter pto exchange for the sickle bar to work and the cylinders and the other casrting that the pto exchange shaft goes too. also the frame that bolts onto the frame that holds the engine. I have looked at countless sites and companys ,did find one like this at liveauctions.com it had sold for 225$ I think it was . HELP!!!!! the super m was bought pretty new I geuss . the sickle bar mower is an IH FARMALL original model. my only uncle I ever had used this mower and tractor all his life, and I want to carry that forward as long as I can. I remember it since I was 5 years old and am 58 now.HELP ME PLEASE. thanks , john aka super m
