Just a little bit more wood to go to make our 10+ cord. We'll finish it up Thursday, weather man calls for rain tomorrow (Wednesday). Son and Daughter stacked what we had split and on the ground this morning. We had to take a lot of the oak trees away from the North end of the house ,that was core rotten, some of the limbs had hit the roof in the spring, damaging the shingles sofit and plywood, my Son re roofed with metal on the north side and replaced plywood and sofit and fascia board with cedar, that will last us a lifetime. We'll keep toasty warm all this winter,my job was to operate the handle on the log splitter (for the 3rd year). We bought us a chainsaw sharpener from Harbor Freight, I'll tell you right now it puts an edge to the chain easy and quick. Can do about 5, twenty inch chains in about 20 minutes. Well anyway folks keep warm and safe.Later on I will ask adirondack Case guy to give us some close up pictures on his elevator,if he has time. Respectfully yours, LOU
