Most of my experiences with cops turned out OK.Once when I was 17,working at a gas station,night shift,a guy came in with a low left front tire and asked me to put some air in it.As I aired it up,it blew out,rolling me over backwards.A cop was driving by,saw me on the ground,had heard the bang,and pulled in,asked,what happened? I told him the tire blew out,and he said,oh,I thought maybe you got robbed and shot.He asked was I OK,and I said I think so and he left,never got of his car.At the time it was funny to me,but not nowadays.I was alone and somewhat disoriented-he should have stayed a few minutes. And I talked my way out of a few things,rolling thru a stop sign in heavy snow,even tho I had a jeep,speeding a couple of times.But other times I got a ticket,so it evens out .I was always respectful,and thanked them.Some were cheerful to me,and some not.Mark
