Thanks much . for your comments .. No ... I don't know much about the tractor at all .. I picked up a JD H at the same time .. the JD H was in the barn and the engine was free - the Allis was outside ... it was about 25 degrees in Michigan when we picked them up ... the exhaust wasn't covered ... on the Allis . it seems like - my boys found the brakes on the tractor were frozen down and loosened them somehow ..
I have NOT worked a lot with it because I didn't want to break something .. and the more I thought of it .. I remembered that I shift it into neutral then the tractor will roll .
I think it is time to pull it in the garage and look into it more . but it could be seized .. no reason to believe it isn't ..
For some reason .. it just seemed stuck .. although I have never had an engine that was seized .. (Respectfully) .. the people I got the tractors from didn't know hardly anything about tractors or these tractors .. they had been their granddad's I believe ... and wanted to get rid of them ..
